Kirsten Blackwood takes 14th championship
KIRSTEN BLACKWOOD has chalked up her 14th club championship at West Linton, beating Lynne Baxter in this year's women's final.
By contrast, the men's event produced a first-time winner in James Whitelaw, who beat Stephen Smith on the last green in the final. The junior championship was won by Sean Walter, who beat Fraser Thain by 4 and 2.
