Linlithgow Rose snap up Well defender Dario Quinn
Linlithgow Rose have signed Motherwell youngster Dario Quinn on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old, brother of Queen of the South player Rocco Quinn, is too old to represent the Steelmen's Under-19 side and, with a string of experienced defenders ahead of him in the first team, boss Craig Brown has decided to loan him out for a season with a view to him returning next season to challenge for his place.
Quinn, who produced a storming performance for Motherwell against Bathgate Thistle in the Paul McGrillen testimonial match last weekend, is available for Rose's League Cup game against West Calder tonight and goes straight into the squad.
