Scotland washed out again
A BALL is yet to be bowled in the opening match of the Intercontinental Cup between Scotland and the Netherlands after rain ruled out play for a second consecutive day.
The outfield at Mannofield in Aberdeen was left waterlogged following heavy rain overnight and again yesterday morning, leaving the umpires with no choice but to abandon play for the day. Wet weather also meant there was no play on the opening day of the four-day match.
