Second Division: Dumbarton survive Alloa fightback to climb table
The Wasps rallied with goals from debutant Kevin Motion and Bryan Prunty, but Ryan McStay struck the winner from a free kick to move the Sons up to eighth place. Dumbarton coach Alan Adamson said: "There is still a long way to go but our youngsters can pull us through."
Alloa manager Allan Maitland said: "Individual mistakes are costing us dear."

Hide AdForfar jumped over Alloa after a 1-0 win at Stenhousemuir. Michael Bolochowekyj headed the game's only goal in 12 minutes with the Loons playing the final 70 minutes of the game with ten men after Martyn Fotheringham was dismissed for using abusive language.
Station Park manager Dick Campbell said: "We have 16 games in 50 days so we could do with keeping 11 men on the park."
Ochilview manager David Irons said: "We lost another goal at a set piece and that is killing us."
Airdrie beat Peterhead 1-0 with Chris Craig grabbing the winner after half an hour.
Diamonds manager Jimmy Boyle said: "We won and I am pleased with that but I do wish they would make things a bit easier and put games to bed. We had been going through a tricky spell results wise so hopefully that is us moving back up."
Peterhead manager Neale Cooper said: "We were nowhere near strong enough physically or mentally."
