Speculation surrounding the future of Kenny Miller has taken another twist after it emerged that the striker's agent has been in Turkey discussing a possible move to Bursaspor.

Rangers have already accepted an offer of around 700,000 for Miller from English Premier League club Birmingham City, while interest from Serie A side Fiorentina appears to have cooled in recent days.

Miller, who returned to the starting XI for Rangers' 4-0 win over Hamilton Accies at the weekend, is out of contract in the summer and is expected to leave Ibrox before the transfer window closes later this month.

Bursaspor, the Turkish champions who were in Rangers' Champions League group this season, are now understood to have entered the race for the 31-year-old. They have not been in touch directly with Rangers yet, but coach Ertugrul Saglam has been quoted in the Turkish media as saying he hopes a transfer can be completed soon.

Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish reiterated yesterday that he is still keen to have Miller at St Andrew's but said that the ball is in the striker's court. McLeish is also interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Robbie Keane and said after his side's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa: "With Keane, it is in the early stages and we will see what happens. With Miller, we are now waiting on an answer."
