Alan Weismann, Gilmerton: "A very nervy performance from us. Big Bamba came on to a game and held us together after his unfortunate OG. It was great to sneak it at the end."

Phil Surrock, Clermiston: "We got the result but it wasn't easy; the players lacked the edge they had in the last two games. Just glad we have the killer instinct to score winners in the last minutes of games."

Brian Nicholson, Leith: "Three points is great; it was a tough fight and basically they stopped us playing. We could see exactly their tactics and it very nearly worked for them. Best for Hibs was Wotherspoon."

John Eastman, Leith: "Difficult and tough to break them down, the passing wasn't as good but the pitch was very poor. We won so who cares."

Ross Alderson, Fernieside: "What a finish, I thought we had blown it but that was deserved at the end. I liked the fact that we didn't give up; good feeling to win after our great win midweek at Celtic."

John Cooper, Granton: "It was just reward, we should have had the game well sown up long before the end. Narrow win but they all count."

Mike Clarke, Leith: "Couldn't believe it, it was last-gasp stuff, but to win when we aren't playing well was fine by me. I though that the referee and both his linesmen were rotten and they could have cost us dear with some rubbish decisions."

David Coats, Pirniefield: "We were very slow to start the game and our passing was poor throughout the game. But when we keep winning it shows that the players really care and are desperate to play right to the end."

James Keene, Leith: "It was a great result but a poor performance, but we need to grind out results in winter and on a rotten pitch to keep up our challenge."

Davie Cochrane, Leith: "From my point of view I am delighted to win. A big ask for the team to hit the heights every game, but that's nine points in a week – superb!"

Scott Johnston, Brunstane: "Everybody has to realise that the team can't batter every team by five goals and I wish some would give the team a bit more support as there were fans screaming at players for no real reason."

Archie Wilson, Southside: "Final minute winners are great; two in a week for the superb Hibees! Saturday was a struggle but we got there right at the death."

Mike Thomson, Gracemount: "With the other results going for us it was a big goal for the win – magic stuff from us."

Harry Fulton, Leith: "I'm looking back and it was dour in reality, but we won so that was a bonus. Plenty of misplaced passes but the three points are on the board. Impressed with Hogg, he played a real captain's role out there."

Gail Munroe, Muirhouse: "Watching some of the passing and Nish and Miller, who are great footballers, were toiling on the glue-pot of a pitch. Not easy for the players to perform so it's a good win under the circumstances."
